CNN Keynote Luncheon with Ashleigh Banfield, CNN

Is News In Crisis – locally and nationally with Ali Velshi formerly of CNN and Al Jazeera America

The Art of Story Telling. Seasoned journalists, Eric Sorenson (Global) and Susan Ormiston (CBC), will share winning formulas for crafting compelling stories.

Medical Reporting. This panel presentation brings together the country’s leading medical reporters and contributors to discuss how they bring medical stories to the audience in an informative and engaging way. Panelists will include Kelly Crowe (CBC – Health Unit Reporter), Dr. Danielle Martin (UofT/UW/Women’s College Hospital), Allison Vuchnich (Global), Avis Favro (CTV.

Distributed Content. Instead of publishing to their own websites, news organizations around the world are posting content directly to social media and other platforms. Learn how Distributed Content works and how this will impact newsroom workflows with Andrew McKay (Global) and Genevieve Brennan (Google).
